Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects, from planning and budgeting to completion and handover.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor construction progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement solutions to overcome challenges.
- Manage contracts, review and approve submittals, and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Lead and motivate construction crews, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (a plus).
- Fluency in Japanese and English (highly preferred).
- Valid Japanese driver’s license (a plus).
