We are a leading finance consultancy firm in Poland seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive accounting and financial advisory services to our valued clients across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Polish accounting standards (KSR) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) for clients, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Perform account reconciliations, analyze financial data, and identify potential accounting issues.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with Polish tax regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and concise communication regarding their financial situation.
- Support with the implementation and optimization of accounting processes for client companies.
- Participate in audits and prepare audit working papers.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development and training of junior team members.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior accounting role within a professional services firm or similar environment.
- Proven experience with the full accounting cycle and strong understanding of Polish accounting standards (KSR) and IFRS.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAGA, mBank SGB) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
